Me2We Men's Group

Me2We proudly hosts a bi-weekly Men’s Accountability Group in the suburbs of Chicago—a space where men come together to share their stories, struggles, and strengths. It's a place to be seen, heard, and uplifted, while also inspiring others through authentic connection.

Each meeting is thoughtfully structured around self-reflection activities and guided group discussions centered on a specific topic. We've also had the privilege of collaborating with companies and guest speakers to bring these topics to life in meaningful ways.

It’s time to turn your story into a source of strength and inspiration for others. Stay connected and explore our latest bi-weekly meeting content below.

Meeting #38- Forgiveness

"Anyone can hold a grudge, but it takes a person with character to forgive. When you forgive, you release yourself from a painful burden. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was OK, it just means you have made peace with the pain and are ready to let it go. So don’t live with hate in your heart, because at the end of the day it does nothing for you. Don’t be fooled though, forgiving others is hard, but forgiving yourself may be even harder. Don’t be afraid to take a step back and truly give yourself some grace. Never forget that love will always be stronger than hate."

Meeting #37- Success

"I suggest that each of us change our perspective on success from one based on societal objectivity with its comparison to others, to a view wherein we strive to obtain success as defined by our values, thereby leading us toward inner peace, happiness, and self-worth. The way you define success is up to you but just remember that means you are the only person who is in control of achieving your personal definition of success. You control your routine, you control your attitude, and you control your work ethic. The one thing you can do is become a public success, but a private failure. So, create your definition of success, and then go live it."

Meeting #36- The Controllable

"Control the controllable. You’re Not in control of what life throws at you, but you’re in control of how you respond to it. Your attitude, your effort, your actions, and your perspective are all controlled by you and you only. Just remember, things don’t happen to us, things happen for us. Stop thinking why me, and start thinking why not me? Put the work into your spirit, mind, and body, and then go out and control the controllable."

Meeting #35- Leaning into your gifts

"The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. Invest time into yourself and the gifts you have been blessed with. Don’t be afraid to bet on yourself and start breaking the self-imposed limitations that you have placed on your life. But most importantly, go out into the world, shine your light and keep sharing your story because one day your story will turn into someone else’s survival guide."

Meeting #34- Savage Servant

"A savage servant is an individual who is attached to purpose and mission. This person relentlessly pursues growth in all areas of their life. A savage servant stands in the gap when no one else wants to, or when it's the hard thing to do. A savage servant allows their light to shine so bright that you can see their perspective, gratitude, faith, and love in everything they do. All while being a fierce and driven individual, a savage servant loves unconditionally. A savage servant never needs to put anyone down, because all they want to do is build people up. A savage servant is someone who shows up when you need them, they will be your shoulder to cry on, and they will always be the one to push you to keep going. The power of a savage servant comes from using their own gifts and challenges to connect with and serve those around them. Savage servants are built different to make a difference."
